Efficient cooling and water management are essential for reliable hydrogen and Power-to-X operations. Electrolyzers, power electronics, transformers, rectifiers, compressors and auxiliary systems depend on the continuous circulation of cooling water, process water and other utility fluids to maintain stable operating conditions.
The DICKOW NK series is designed for these supporting applications, providing an economical and energy-efficient solution for continuous-duty circulation and transfer services. While not intended for handling hydrogen itself, the pumps support thermal management and utility systems throughout hydrogen production and associated infrastructure.
The series comprises the NKL and NKX, covering different requirements within industrial water, cooling and utility applications. The NKL is a horizontal, single-stage end-suction volute casing pump designed according to EN 733 and ISO 5199. Its broad hydraulic coverage allows the pump to be closely matched to the required duty point, supporting efficient operation and reduced lifecycle costs.
The NKL is equipped with a mechanical seal and permanently grease-lubricated rolling bearings. With capacities up to 500 m³/h, heads up to 140 m, operating pressures up to 10 bar and temperatures up to 180 °C, it provides a reliable solution for cooling water circuits, process water systems and general utility services.
Together, NKL and NKX provide practical and economical pump solutions for auxiliary processes supporting hydrogen production, Power-to-X plants and modern energy infrastructure.
